Jean Dujardin keeps getting upstaged by dogs. The French actor, who has received Best Actor nominations from both the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors' Guild for his performance in The Artist, attended the German premiere of the film on Tuesday with a cute, cuddly pal of his named Archie.
Archie is not the same dog, however, who co-starred with Dujardin in The Artist. That dog, a Jack Russell terrier named Uggie, so stole the hearts of moviegoers that his fans started a Facebook page begging for the Academy to consider him for an Oscar nomination. While Dujardin can expect his own name to be called, neither Archie nor Uggie have much hope, given that the Academy does not nominate animals for any awards.
Check out our interview with Dujardin's Artist co-star, Berenice Bejo, here.
