Jayne Brown, a homeless teenager from Baltimore, Maryland, received the final golden buzzer Wednesday night on America’s Got Talent from One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.
Brown sang Audra Day‘s “Rise Up,” bringing all the judges to their feet.
The 14 year old was visibly shaking before an after her performance and was especially excited to see Tomlinson.
“It is not just one thing with you,” Tomlinson told her. “It’s not just the voice. It’s not just the performance. You have everything and it is so infectious to watch you perform!” He said before hitting the golden buzzer.
Brown was one of the final seven acts to advance to the live rounds of the competition, which begin July 26 in Los Angeles.
The other advancing acts include Viktor Kee, Throwings, The Clairvoyants, Outlawz, Musicality and Sos & Victoria Petrosyan.
