Jason Priestley, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, has been rushed to hospital after taking a nasty fall from a horse while filming on the set of his new show, The Code.
The incident occurred on Monday, reports TMZ, and doctors kept Priestley overnight as he has a history of concussions and they feared he may have sustained another. The precaution was a necessary one as the actor subsequently revealed in a tweet that he had.
“Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words,” Priestley wrote on Twitter, “It’s true, I did get thrown off a horse on set… I got my bell rung pretty good… Because I Have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment. He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a Concussion… But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code.”
This isn’t the first time the actor has been in a major accident. Back in 2002 he broke his back and feet in a race car crash in Kentucky.
