Jason Mraz and his longtime girlfriend Christina Carano married in a top-secret ceremony over the weekend.
Mraz and Carano tied the knot at the Historic Polegreen Church in Mechanicsville, Va., on Oct. 25., reports Entertainment Tonight. The intimate nuptials were attended by 50 of the couple’s close friends and family members.
Mraz confirmed the wedding on Twitter, captioning a picture of Carano within the open-air church, “Today I was made the luckiest man in the world.
Though Carano hasn’t commented on becoming Mrs. Mraz, a couple of months ago she opened up about her relationship with the singer-songwriter in an interview with The Osider Magazine.
“After several years of crushing on him, the stars finally aligned – and now he’s my stud. We’ve created a really awesome life together and we make a great team,” said Carano, who previously owned a coffee shop in Hermosa Beach. “He’s the most loving, generous, and most hardworking man I know. These are the most attractive qualities I could ever ask for in a partner.”
Carano added, “He inspires me and empowers me everyday to live my best life and he cares so deeply about the things that really matter. We’re truly blessed in so many ways.”
Mraz and Carano met in 2007, and started dating in 2011.
