Jason Mraz has launched the Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride – his Summer 2023 North American tour.
The new series of performances will support the American singer-songwriter’s eighth album of the same name, which is set to be released on June 23.
The tour begins in Troutdale, Oregon on July 13 and covers the West Coast with shows in Seattle, Berkeley and Santa Barbara.
The trek finishes on August 17 at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium with a special symphony-backed performance featuring the New York Pops.
His superband comprised of Grooveline Horns, folk-rock quartet Raining Jane and guitarist Molly Miller will support him along the tour.
Mraz rose to prominence with the release of his debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, in 2002. The LP featured the single “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)”, which made the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His next two studio albums, Mr. A-Z and We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., both reached the top five on the Billboard 200. The single “I’m Yours” off the latter album spent 76 weeks on the Hot 100, a record at the time.
