Jason Momoa Has Head-On Vehicle Collision With Motorcyclist In California, Neither Seriously Injured

Jason Momoa was involved in a vehicle crash on Sunday. According to California Highway Patrol, he hit a motorcycle head-on while driving in Topanga, but luckily neither driver was fatally injured.

The crash occurred out on a winding and sloped road in Topanga Canyon, and footage of emergency vehicles along with Momoa walking along the road was captured by a biker.

CHP described a terrifying but ultimately somewhat miraculous moment since both participants were left alive afterward. Motorcyclist Vitaliy Avagimyan reportedly veered into Momoa’s lane during a turn on the road and bounced off his windshield. The most shocking part is the biker was somehow able to land on his feet according to authorities.

Even though he made a pretty graceful landing, Avagimyan was still treated at the hospital with some injuries. These were still minor with the worst wounds reported being a bruised leg and hurt thumb. If this recollection of the crash is true, then this 21-year-old motorcyclist should join Momoa in whatever his next action movie role is.

Momoa was not injured in the crash, and per both reports and the witness video, he remained at the scene. A legal representative for the actor was asked for a comment on the incident but no response was received at publication.
