Jason Biggs’ Wife, Jenny Mollen, Sparks Outrage For Boarding Plane With Lice Infestation, Then Blaming Husband
Jason Biggs’ wife, Jenny Mollen, was slammed for boarding a five-hour flight with lice.
In a video the actress shared to Instagram on October 29, Mollen sits on the plane with a trash bag over her head and tells the camera, “Guess what? I have f—ing lice.”
“I can’t even deal. This is insane you guys, this is insane. We have a five-hour flight. I’m wearing a bag that these came in on my head,” she said, showing the headphones that came on the plane.
“I’ve never had live in my life. I don’t know what to do.”
She said, “I’ve been itching for two weeks, so they’ve been living on me for two weeks.”
She captioned the video, “‘I’m not saying for sure you have lice, I’m just saying there’s absolutely no way you don’t.'”
Social media users were quick to voice their disapproval, with comments ranging from” for God’s sake, please tell the crew” to “new fear of airplanes unlocked.” Many people were furious at Mollen’s seemingly flippant attitude toward her public proximity to the infestation.
In a second video shared the next day, Mollen sat in her home with a towel around her shoulders as she was treated. She clarified to viewers that she had been unaware of the infestation prior to boarding the plane.
She shared that everyone in the family had been found to have varying degrees of lice in their hair.
Mollen acknowledged, “I know, the airplane seat, that’s a bummer for whoever sits there next. I want to be clear: I didn’t know that I had lice until I was on the airplane. I thought that I was going through perimenopause, and for about three weeks, I was just itching my scalp.”
She accused Biggs of not taking her direction to search her hair seriously enough when she initially questioned whether she had lice.
“Let’s just blame my husband for not looking closely enough at my head,” she said.
Head lice can only be spread through direct contact between people or the distribution of personal belongings such as combs, stuffed animals, hats, etc. Lice cannot fly or jump, only crawl from contact to contact.
