Jase Robertson (above, left), who stars on A&E’s Duck Dynasty with the rest of his Louisiana-based family, claims that his beard got him kicked out of a hotel in New York City.

Robertson was staying a hotel in Manhattan when he became the unsuspecting target of what he calls “facial profiling,” he said on Live! With Kelly and Michael. "The first thing that happened to me at the hotel was I got escorted out," Robertson told hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. "I asked where the bathroom was and he said, 'Right this way, sir.' He was very nice, he walked me outside, pointed down the road and said, 'Good luck.'"

After he was mistaken for a homeless man, Robertson quickly brushed the misunderstanding off. "I circled back around and my wife said, 'What happened?' and I just said I just got kicked out,” the reality TV star revealed.

The Robertson clan, who run a successful duck-hunting business, are the stars of the most-watched reality TV progam in cable television history. The show also currently ranks No. 2 across all cable programs, behind AMC’s The Walking Dead. Duck Dynasty’s season four premiere yielded an inpressive 12 million viewers – who, unlike the hotel employee, know that the Robertson men’s grizzly beards are a part of their onscreen schtick.
