Subway pitchman Jared Fogle had his home searched Tuesday morning by the FBI, who are conducting a child pornography investigation.
FBI agents raided Fogle’s home outside of Indianapolis Tuesday morning, reported TMZ. An evidence was parked outside of the Subway spokesman’s residence, as he was spotted walking into the home with one of the agents. In addition to the FBI, Indiana State Police were on hand at the scene as well.
Earlier this year, the then-director of Fogle’s The Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested for possessing and producing child porn. In the FBI investigation, more than 500 child porn videos were uncovered. Taylor reportedly mixed work files with the pornography files, which could explain why investigators are now searching Fogle’s home.
When the charges were brought on Taylor, Fogle said that he was “shocked” about the allegations and announced immediately that The Jared Foundation would be “severing all ties” with Taylor.
Fogle shot to fame back in 1998, when, as a student at Indiana University, he lost more than 200 pounds on a diet of Subway sandwiches.
