The 50-year-old singer gave birth to her first child in January, and is splitting from her husband of five years Wissam al Mana. She is now focused on writing “positive” new music that is uplifting and about motherhood.

Her previously postponed shows will become part of a new tour Jackson is calling the State of the World Tour, and will hit North America later this year. A source told The Sun: “Having a baby has upped her desire to release positive music and she wants her new songs to be a celebration of life, love and motherhood. She plans to get back on tour in North America in October, followed by a brand new album. Last year’s incomplete Unbreakable World Tour is being revamped to become  the State Of The World Tour, and she is already scheduling summer rehearsals.”

Al Mana, 42, posted a sweet photo and caption after the pair split. “To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend,” he penned. “I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x.”

Jackson, for her part, is focused on caring for their son Eissa. She posted a photo of her and her baby that simply said, “My baby and me after nap time.”
