Superstar Janet Jackson called the police on Saturday to check on the wellbeing of her 17-month-old son, Eissa Al Mana, who was in the custody of his father Wissam Al Mana.
Jackson, 52, split with Al Mana in April 2017 after she gave birth to their son in January. They’ve both accused each other of controlling, abusive behavior which led to the nasty divorce. However, a nanny told Jackson that her ex-husband displayed aggressive behavior while she was caring for their son. The nanny reportedly locked herself in a bathroom to contact Jackson.

Al Mana and his son were at the Nobu hotel in Malibu that night. Police checked in, but later left when they determined the child to be okay.
Jackson and Al Mana got hitched in 2012, and Jackson stayed out of the spotlight. It’s said that the Qatari businessman had become especially controlling during Jackson’s pregnancy when he tried to rule her life. Al Mana allegedly tried to dictate her appearance, keep her away from family and force her to become a dutiful Muslim wife.

Al Mana told a different story. He claimed Jackson would throw fits around the house, often knocking his abilities as a husband and father. A source told Radar Online she’d complain about being “imprisoned and shut off from the world.”
The divorce will be extra costly for Al Mana since Jackson is entitled to $200 million for birthing his child and staying with him for five years.
“Janet and Wissam don’t see eye to eye on many things,” a source told E! News. “One of the many divorcing factors was their religious beliefs. Wissam and Janet did not feel that they were on the same page when it came to this and the way they wanted their child to get raised. Janet is more of a free spirit than Wissam. Cultural difference and backgrounds played a major role.”
