Iconic singer Janet Jackson has announced an additional dates for her highly anticipated Together Again Tour. The five-time Grammy Award winner is currently in the midst of a sold-out North American leg of the tour, celebrating her remarkable 50-year career in the music industry.
The European portion of the tour is set to kick off on September 25 at the Accor Arena in Paris, with stops in the UK, Germany and Belgium, before concluding in Amsterdam on October 10. Due to overwhelming demand, Jackson will now take the stage at London’s O2 Arena on September 28 and 29 with the renowned Wyclef Jean joining her as a special guest.
Adding to the excitement, Jackson has hinted at the possibility of treating fans to some brand-new material during the tour. In a recent interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, the artist shared, “On the last tour that we did in the States last year, we did a few different songs, but this time around, we’re even gonna do more songs, different ones that I’ve never done live before. There might be a new song here or there as well.”
This announcement comes five years after Jackson first mentioned her 12th studio album, Black Diamond, which has yet to be released. Addressing this delay, the singer explained, “It was supposed to come out, but we went into the pandemic, and on top of that, there were a couple of things that I needed to straighten out in my backyard. So now, since we’re past all that, we’re going about putting out new music for sure.”
