Jamie Foxx Recovering From A ‘Medical Complication,’ According To Daughter

Jamie Foxx is reportedly in care and recovering after experiencing a “medical complication” on Tuesday.

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news about his health scare, giving friends and fans an update on the Django Unchained actor’s condition.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she wrote on behalf of her family. She continued that while they “know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” they are asking “for privacy during this time.”

“Much love, The Foxx Family,” she wrote, signing off the Instagram post which had the comments section turned off.

While no further details have been provided thus far, Foxx was reportedly in London filming an upcoming Netflix action-comedy, Back In Action, alongside recently unretired actress Cameron Diaz. He was also seen at the London Palladium on March 26, where he seemed in good spirits as he surprised Quentin Tarantino by serenading him with an R-rated “Happy Birthday.”
