Jamie Dornan & Wife Amelia Warner Join Oscars’ Red Carpet Promoting ‘Belfast’

Jamie Dornan joined his Belfast co-stars in attendance for the Academy Awards ceremony.

For this year’s red carpet walk, Dornan thought a lot about the type of attire he wanted to appear in for Hollywood’s biggest night.

“For the Oscars, we wanted Jamie to have a look that matched his elegant-and-relaxed style with expert tailoring in the way only Valentino can do,” said Dornan’s stylist Jeanne Yang. “I selected Valentino as we knew Pierpaolo Piccioli’s modern take on menswear was a perfect match for Jamie as he is a modern movie star.”

Dornan and his team were looking for something that would feel comfortable yet elegant at the same time for the special occasion. Their final outcome was a black double-breasted tux from Valentino.

“It’s very beautiful—and very comfortable as well,” he commented on his get-up.

The actor walked the red carpet alongside his musician wife Amelia Warner, wearing a stunning gold sequined gown with light-pink floral detailing.

Dornan didn’t receive a nomination for this year’s Oscars but was able to support his multi-nominated movie Belfast receiving the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
