It’s clear that beauty runs in the Turlington family.

Supermodel Christy Turlington‘s nephew, James, made a splash on Monday while attending the CFDA Fashion Awards at the American Museum of Natural History.

He made his presence known by wearing a mustard-yellow suit, with yellow shoes to match.

James, 29, is a model just like his aunt, but before that, he was a professional baseball player who played for the L.A. Dodgers.

In the summer of 2019, he decided to take a different career path and announced it on social media.

“I am beyond grateful for the places this game has taken me,” he wrote. “I’ll never forget the experiences, life lessons and friendships that came with playing the greatest game. As a kid who dreamt of playing in the big leagues, I look back on my career and am so thankful to have accomplished the goals I set out to achieve.”

He hinted at his next career move at the end of his announcement by saying that a “new chapter” was beginning.

“But as one chapter ends, another begins,” he said. “Excited to start this new chapter and continue to grow and evolve as a person.”

Since he began his modeling career, James has posed for Armani, Missoni and Ralph Lauren, among others.
