James Franco is a jack-of-all-trades and he's planning on putting all of his skills on full display while hosting the Oscars.
The 127 Hours star promised that he and co-host Anne Hathaway will participate in some musical numbers. "There will be some singing and some dancing. We haven't started choreographing that yet or rehearsing that, but there will be some of that," he said to People.
Franco said he will be relying on Hathaway to carry the show. "She is the youngest to ever host the Oscars so I guess that's special in itself. She's a great person – great personality – so I'm basically depending on her to pull it off."
The sometimes soap star, Ph.D student and painter also got some advice from a veteran Oscar host. "Billy Crystal said to wear tennis shoes, or something, but I don't think I'm going to follow that advice."
