James Corden has been preparing for Christmas all year with his Carpool Karaoke guests, it seems.
In the latest episode of The Late Late Show, Corden unveiled a new version of the segment that started out with Mariah Carey. It began with the pair singing Carey’s chart-topping Christmas tune “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” but the segment quickly became much more involved. It seems Corden has been having his guests sing along to that song all year, all in anticipation of this great collaboration.
The video features Lady Gaga, Elton John, Gwen Stafani, Adele, Selena Gomez, Chris Martin, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was a quick segment, but an exciting one as Corden surprised his audience with the fun mashup.
