Amandla Stenberg and Jaden Smith go to Prom
Jaden Smith wore a dress to Prom when he attended with The Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg.
Stenberg, 16, took Smith, 16, to her high school prom on Friday, May 29, and the duo made quite the fashion statement. Stenberg wore a floor-length, metallic gown, paired with long, grey braids and a septum ring. Smith ditched his Batman Prom suit for what appears to be a long color-blocked, black and white dress over skinny jeans. Smith paired the daring look with a black blazer and sneakers.
The duo posed for photos with Stenberg’s friends before heading to the dance.
After sharing photos on Tumblr, Stenberg, who frequently communicates with her fans on the site, complimented Smith’s style when a fan commented on the media attention surrounding his outfit. “Can we talk about how cool it is that Jaden loves dressing androgynously,” Stenberg responded.
