Jaden Smith may or may not be in love with fellow rapper Tyler the Creator.
The 20-year-old rapper and actor interrupted his performance at Tyler the Creator’s 2018 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles on Sunday evening to profess his love for his fellow hip-hop musician.
“Tyler the Creator is the best friend in the world and I love him so f—ing much. And I want to tell you guys something… Tyler doesn’t want to say, but Tyler is my motherf—ing boyfriend,” Smith told fans onstage during the music festival in remarks that were recorded and shared on social media. “It’s true. He’s been my boyfriend my whole life.”
After Smith’s comments, the camera is shown panning to the side of the stage and 27-year-old Tyler the Creator is seen laughing and wagging his finger as if to say “no.”
Fans on Twitter were unsure whether or not Smith was being serious or simply joking.
“I feel freeeee” wrote Tyler the Creator in one tweet, after responding to Smith’s tweet by writing, “hahaha you a crazy n— man.”
