Jack & Lisa Osbourne Lose Their Baby

Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa were expecting a baby boy, but shared on Friday morning that Lisa had suffered a miscarriage.

Lisa Osbourne, who is mom to a 16-month old daughter named Pearl Clementine with Jack, runs her own blog called Raddest Mom. She took to the blog to announce the sad news, explaining that she had needed time to process the tragic second-trimester loss before making it public.

“Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through,” she wrote, speaking for both her and Jack. “We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.”

Lisa later tweeted out her thanks to those who expressed their condolences for her and Jack’s loss, and to share how the couple is coping.

In August, Lisa Osbourne gushed about the joys of being pregnant with their second child, and expressed their happiness in giving Pearl a younger sibling to People. Jack’s mother Sharon Osbourne told the magazine that her son and daughter-in-law would like to have around five kids, adding, “They both want to have a whole brood.”

In happier news for the couple, Jack will soon be competing on NBC’s Dancing with the Stars. Partnered with Cheryl Burke, he’ll be competing against the likes of Christine Milian, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Keyshawn Johnson and Bill Nye the “Science Guy.”
