Yesterday was James Sirius Potter’s first day at Hogwarts. J.K. Rowling wished him good luck on Twitter.
September 1 is the first day of school for Hogwarts students, as well as the first day Harry Potter stepped foot in the wizarding world. Now, Harry J. Potter and Ginny Weasley’s eldest son, James Sirius Potter, has started his first day at Hogwarts. Unable to be there to wish him good luck in person, Rowling requested that someone at King’s Cross Station be so kind as to send her wishes along to him.
Rowling later tweeted that James had been sorted into none other than Gryffindor, the same house his parents belonged to.
Rowling’s book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which appears in the first Harry Potter novel as one of Harry’s textbooks, is being adapted to the screen and is set to come out in November, 2016.
