Ivanka Trump shared a tribute post on social media for her late mother Ivana Trump Thursday following her unexpected death at 73 years old.
“Heartbroken by the passing of my mother,” Trump wrote. “Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny.”
The medical examiner ruled the death accidental on Friday.
Ivana and Donald Trump married in 1997. The couple remained together until their very-public divorce in the 1990s.
The couple shared three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.
Eric Trump said his mother was a “force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend.”
Former President Trump shared in his statement that the children they shared were her “pride and joy.”
