Ivanka Trump Joins Dad On Stage For Victory Speech After Distancing Herself From Him
Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, joined him on stage for his triumphant speech on Nov. 6 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Notably, Ivanka, along with her husband Jared Kushner, chose to stand off to the side of Trump, in contrast to Ivanka’s significant presence beside her father in 2016.
Ivanka and Kushner were prominent advisers for Trump during his previous term from 2016 to 2020. However, both made clear earlier this year that they do not want to resume such roles in Trump’s future terms.
Ivanka, In a blue velvet pantsuit, was accompanied by her stepmother, Melania, and half-brother, Barron.
Melania was also largely absent throughout Trump’s campaign/
Barron, who towers over everyone, is in his freshman year at NYU.
In his address at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Trump told to his supporters, “This is the most important job in the world. Just as I did in my first term, we had a great first term, a great, great first term.”
He preached, “I will govern by a simple motto: Promises made, promises kept. We’re going to keep our promises. Nothing will stop me from keeping my word to you, the people. We will make America safe, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free again.”
Such promises that Trump assures to uphold include revenge against his political opponent, raising tariffs and mass deportations of migrants.
Vice President Kamala Harris conceded the election on Wednesday afternoon in a speech at Howard University.
