Singer Mariah Carey is battling pregnancy rumors after abruptly dropping out of her upcoming movie role in Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Carey’s publicist told Radar Online that the singer is "is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to." Carey’s husband Nick Cannon addressed the rumors via his Twitter, posting “If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally. Thanks for being respectful GodBless”.
The couple has been frequently photographed visiting a fertility clinic in Los Angeles in the past months. Cannon recently said he and Carey do want to have kids but is leaving it in “God’s hands” when it will happen. "It’s probably a question I get asked more than anything: When are we having children?" Cannon told People. "Of course, being married you want to start a family. … But you can’t say, ‘Well yeah, next week, Thursday, on the 4th, we gonna do this, and then we plan on having the child.’ You know, you gotta leave all that stuff to God. That’s in God’s hands. So, when it happens, it happens, and we’ll be happy." –Natthakan Garunrangseewong
