Ireland Baldwin, the model and daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, showed off a great new end-of-summer look with a blonde buzz cut.
She has had her hair at many lengths and colors over her modeling career including brunette, pastel purples and blues shades.
“Don’t tell me I won’t do something because I will,” Baldwin wrote in the first selfie commemorating the hair change.
She also tagged hair stylist Hannah Bonetti who did the buzz.
Bonnetti also uploaded a timelapse of the haircut, showing that she sweetly let Ireland buzz off the first part of her hair.
Baldwin clearly seemed pleased by the end of the video and has since been taking pictures looking confident with the new hairdo.
She also expanded on her decision in an Instagram story.
“My hair was destroyed by years of bleach and modeling and bullshit since I was 17. It’s long overdue for a restart/refresh,” Ireland explained.
Baldwin has been in the public eye for much of her childhood due to how famous both her parents are.
Her father Alec notoriously left a voice mail message to Baldwin when she was eleven where he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”
Ireland continues to model occasionally and also is an actor and DJ.
Before the pandemic, she got to surprise her father with an appearance at his Comedy Central roast.
For her final joke of her set, Ireland said “So before I leave, I’d just like to say something you’ve never said to me: Goodnight.”
