YouTube sensation Susan Boyle, 48, was faced with yet another intruder at her home in Blackburn, Scotland, when she returned home from London late Tuesday night after recording a single for Simon Cowell’s Haiti appeal. A police statement released Wednesday stated, "Police were called to an address in Blackburn at around 9:50 p.m. yesterday following reports of a disturbance. A man was detained in connection with the incident and released without charge, pending further inquiries."
Boyle’s rep added Susan was “shocked but unharmed." This isn’t the first time Boyle has discovered intruders at her home. On Christmas Day she found two men peering through a window in her back garden. Despite her recent success, Boyle still lives in the house that she grew up in. Though a security company was supposed to be supervising her house, no guards were present at the time of the invasion. –MANDY COEHN in London
