Hong Kong Instagram influencer Sofia Cheung died after standing on the edge of a cliff and falling while trying to take a selfie.
During her trip to Ha Pak Lai park on Saturday, she traveled with three friends to climb the edge of Pineapple Mountain for a picture.
She lost her balance, which resulted in her falling in the water.
Her friends called emergency services and she was rushed to the hospital. She was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Her last Instagram picture was uploaded on July 9, captioned “Better Days are coming. Ther are called: Saturday and Sunday.”
