The estranged mom of Slumdog Millionaire star Rubina Ali, 9, has filed a complaint with Mumbai police after a British tabloid alleged that the girl's father tried to sell Rubina to an reporter posing as an Arab sheik. The British paper says the father negotiated for $400,000 for the girl, who played the same character as Frieda Pinto (pictured) as a child. The lives of the slum children in the movie, which has grossed $300 million, have been thrown into turmoil by their sudden fame.
