It seems writer/director Christopher Nolan hasn’t lost his magic touch. The mastermind behind The Dark Knight’s latest flick, Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, pictured, took in an estimated $60.4 million in its first weekend. The critically acclaimed film has been compared to Nolan’s Momento, his 2001 film, which was nominated for two Academy Awards. Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice fared far worse in its debut, taking in only an estimated $17.3 million. Universal’s celebrity-packed Despicable Me held strong at number 2, while arguably the biggest films of summer, Eclipse and Toy Story 3, rounded out the top 5 of this weekend. –ELENA COX

From Inception's trailer, I have no idea what the movie is about. But it doesn't matter! I really want to see this movie, and from it's first weekend's numbers, it seems I was not the only one that wanted to!

Still haven't seen Inception, every theater in New York City is selling tickets out like they're free! I can't even go online anymore fearing spoilers 🙁 It looks amazing though!
