Imagine Dragons, the Grammy-winning rock band, will put on a performance aboard a plane 35,000 feet in the sky on Feb. 24.

Imagine Dragons’ Airplane Concert

Imagine Dragons’ airplane concert Live at 35 will be held on a Southwest Airlines flight. Southwest is launching a sweepstakes Feb. 3 for a fan and three friends to win tickets for the flight. The lucky winner will also get tickets to see the band play on the ground, where they’ll be playing at venues in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.

“We can think of no better way to unveil our new album than to travel together with our fans at 35,000 feet, and to play in the same clubs where we started this journey,” Imagine Dragons said in a statement.

Southwest spokeswoman Anne Murray has said that working with Imagine Dragons was a natural partnership for the company. “Beyond their obvious successes right now, they’re just good guys and their values align with Southwest’s values,” Murray told Billboard. “We’re about the people, and making memorable experiences for our customers. Imagine Dragons shares that same goal, to appreciate and recognize their loyal fans.”

Since news of the concert broke, Imagine Dragons fans have taken to Twitter to share how badly they want to see the band rock in the skies.

Imagine Dragons’ forthcoming album Smoke + Mirrors is slated for release Feb. 17.  It’s a follow-up to the band’s Night Visions album.
