Ignoring Ex Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Pays Tribute To Dad Robert Kardashian Sr. & Caitlyn Jenner On Father’s Day

Kim Kardashian posted a series of photos on Instagram to commemorate her late father, Robert Kardashian, and Caitlyn Jenner for Father’s Day – but ignored the father of her kids, disgraced rapper Kanye West.

The photos were a mix of family pictures with Robert and with Caitlyn. She captioned the post, “Best to ever do it! I wouldn’t be me if it weren’t for you two. Thank you. Happy Father’s Day”

Her sister Kendall Jenner commented on the post with a heart emoji.

The first photo featured Kim and her sister Kourtney Kardashian when they were young being held by their father, Robert, who has a big smile on his face. 

The second photo showed her and Kourtney when they were teens, both dressed up being hugged by their father. 

The third photo is almost the same as the second, the only difference is this time Robert is replaced by Caitlyn. 

The other photos feature family photos and single shots of Kim with her dads. 

Robert was married to Kris Jenner from 1978 to 1991. During their marriage, they had four kids together, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob. 

After their divorce, Kris remarried Bruce Jenner in 1991. Together they had two kids, Kendall and Kylie. They divorced in 2015 and shortly after Bruce decided he to transition to become a female. Now, she is known as Caitlyn Jenner. 

Robert died in 2003 due to esophageal cancer. He died just two months after he was diagnosed.

In February, Kim paid tribute to her father on his birthday by sharing a series of videos of him on Instagram. In her caption, she added, “It’s been 20 years since we’ve celebrated your birthday here on earth. But I will take it because I had the best dad in the whole wide world and am so lucky I had 22 years with you!”

Kim is currently trying to become a lawyer, just like her dad. Her father is famously known for defending O.J. Simpson in the case of The People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson. 

Kim recently spoke about becoming a full-time lawyer and leaving behind her family’s reality TV show The Kardashians.
