Iggy Azalea has officially called off her engagement to Nick Young following reports that the basketball player had cheated on her.
Iggy took to Instagram on Sunday to inform her fans that she had decided to officially call it quits with Young after determining that it was impossible for her to fully trust him again.
“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him — It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to, ” Iggy wrote. “I genuinely wish Nick the est. It’s never
easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”
As for Young, he confirmed the breakup news with a short tweet, which reads, “Single.”
Back in March, a video surfaced in which Young is chatting with his Los Angeles Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell about the women he’s slept with recently – who were not his fiancee Iggy Azalea. “You was 30 and she was 19? Russell is heard asking Young. When Russell asks Young about Amber Rose, Young replies, “No, she knows my girl.”
Iggy ultimately decided to give Young another chance, but apparently the relationship was too damaged to continue.
Young had proposed to Iggy last June after two years of dating.
