Iggy Azalea and Nick Young made their red carpet debut as a couple on Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards.

Azalea, whose debut album The New Classic was an instant hit, presented at the awards show and also performed her smash single “Fancy” and her new song with Ariana Grande, “Problem.”

Walking the red carpet with clean, minimal make-up in a long burgundy gown by Zuhair Murad, Azalea posted for photos alongside her Los Angeles Lakers boyfriend, Young. Though the couple began dating in November of 2013, they had not attended any red carpet events together until Sunday.

Their first red carpet wasn’t without its awkward moments. After fans pointed out to Azalea a moment on the red carpet when Young bent down to kiss her and Azalea failed to notice, Azalea tweeted a joke about the incident.

The young lovers have been experimenting with taking their relationship public, first posting the odd couple shot to Instagram and then slowly talking more openly about their relationship in the media. Most recently, Azalea and Young posed for a photo spread in GQ.
