Iggy Azalea is confirming rumors of getting a nose job. This isn’t the first time the “Fancy” rapper admitted to getting plastic surgery. Back in March, Azalea confirmed to Vogue in an interview that she got breast implants, and during the 2015 Billboard Music awards, she looked noticeably different, adding on to the speculation that she got a nose job and a chin implant.
“I’m not denying it. Denying it is lame,” Azalea tells Seventeen after being asked if she got a nose job. “I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like with my breasts.” Azelea, who won a Billboard Music Award for “Top Rap Artist” also admits to doing a lot of research before getting surgery, and that if anyone is looking into going under the knife, they shouldn’t rush it. “I read a lot about nose jobs online. Some women are really happy they got them, and some women changed their noses when they were younger, and when they got older they wished they didn’t.”
Azalea seemed pleased with her comments. “I’m so pumped to be on the new cover of @seventeen! Read all about it: https://svn.tn/6018B1VIm #17Iggy,” tweeted the rapper on Tuesday.
She further reveals that there are some physical features that she struggled with growing up so she chose to change them through surgery. “Plastic surgery is an emotional journey,” she reveals to the magazine. “It’s no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself—and it’s no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it’s a tough journey. There are things that I didn’t like about myself that I changed through surgery. There are other things I dislike but I’ve learned to accept.”
