Hunter Biden Cries In Court As Daughter Naomi Biden Shares Emotional Testimony About His Addiction Struggles

In an emotional courtroom testimony on Friday, Naomi Biden, the 30-year-old daughter of Hunter Biden, provided insights into her father’s long battle with addiction and supported his defense against federal gun charges.

Taking the stand in Wilmington, Delaware, Naomi recounted visiting her father, Hunter, in rehab in Los Angeles in August 2018 when he was “struggling with addiction.” She told prosecutors she hadn’t seen him in a long time before that visit with her now-husband, Peter Neal.

“He reached out,” Naomi said of her dad. “We met for lunch with his sober coach.”

After the visit, Naomi texted Hunter that she was “so proud” of him for getting help and was glad he met Peter. A visibly emotional Hunter wiped away tears as his oldest daughter testified.

Naomi said she couldn’t pinpoint exactly when she learned of her father’s drug use, but it was shortly after the tragic death of her uncle Beau Biden in 2015 that his struggles began.

Her testimony also shed light on Hunter’s activities in October 2018, describing a text exchange about swapping vehicles during a New York trip. Hunter had asked if Neal could bring his Ford Raptor truck from Brooklyn to meet him.

When asked what Hunter was doing at 2 a.m. that required the vehicle swap, Naomi said she didn’t know. But she noted Hunter “still seemed good” then, and she remained hopeful about his recovery.

Naomi also stated she had never witnessed her father actively using drugs, though she acknowledged she may not have recognized the signs. After her emotional testimony concluded, she hugged her father before being escorted out.

Hunter is on trial for lying about drug use on a firearms purchase form and illegal gun possession while using drugs. If convicted on all three felony counts, he could face up to 25 years in prison.

Hunter recently threatened to sue Fox News for publishing photos obtained from his laptop.
