Hugh Jackman, 47, took to his Instagram to share the dangers of not protecting your skin against the sun’s harmful UV rays. The photo is a selfie with a Band Aid over his nose with the caption, “An example of what happens when you don’t wear sunscreen. Basal Cell. The mildest form of cancer but serious, nonetheless. PLEASE USE SUNSCREEN and get regular check-ups.”

The actor had another growth removed from his nose. It was the Australian actor’s fifth known basal cell carcinoma removal since 2013.

Jackman confessed he never wore sunscreen while growing up in Australia. He now gets checkups every three months and has launched a range of sunscreens for children.
