Hugh Jackman has joined the growing list of celebrities receiving their COVID-19 shots.
The 52-year-old X-Men star shared two photos of himself getting vaccinated Thursday morning.
“Wolverine’s healing ability can’t save me from Covid. But the vaccine can,” he wrote. Get it!”
It is unclear which vaccine he got but fans were happy to see the actor protecting himself from the virus.
“Awesome mate!!!! Well done,” one commented. “Thank you for being an inspiration.”
“Woooo!!!! Thank you for using your platform to be a role mode,” another wrote.
“That guy got to vaccinate the Wolverine. Life=Made,” a third commented.
Jackman was set to star in the Broadway revival of The Music Man in 2020, opposite Sutton Foster but the show was postponed when Broadway was shut down for over a year due to the pandemic. If Broadway reopens in the fall, the musical will begin performances on December 20, 2021 and will open on February 10, 2022.
