Roman Atwood’s epic prank on Howie Mandel has gone viral, earning over 4.4 million views in two days.
Atwood, a famous YouTube prank artist, had help from a few friends, including Mandel’s son and fellow YouTuber, Alex Mandel, to set up the prank, which consisted of over 4,000 rolls of toilet paper being thrown on top of Mandel’s mansion.
Video of the prank was posted on Sunday, March 15, and quickly went viral. In the video, an irate Mandel appears shocked as he gets a glimpse of his fully vandalized house. Mandel gets even more upset upon seeing his wife’s reaction: she was in on the prank, and can barely hide her amusement.
Mandel shared an aerial shot of his home covered in toilet paper on Instagram after the prank video went live. “I’m so Prangry,” Mandel wrote, meaning “proud” and “angry.”
Visible in the photo, most likely taken from a drone, is a message spelled out in toilet paper rolls that reads, “Smile More :).”
Atwood also shared a behind-the-scenes video on his Vlog channel that features more footage of Mandel’s reaction.
Seibert speculated, “If struggle without context is baffling, heaven without struggle isn’t very interesting.”
The shooter was identified to be John R. Lyons, 24, of Westchester, Illinois.
