Howard Stern said on his Sirius XM radio show that he is “really thinking about” running for President in 2024, adding that he’s “not f––king around.” Stern boldly added that he would hope to go against Donald Trump running for re-election and claimed he would “beat his ass.”
Stern came to the idea after the Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, and said “The problem with most presidents is they have too big of an agenda. The only agenda I would have is to make the country fair again.”
One element of Stern’s proposed Presidential platform is the dissolution of the Electoral College, recalling telling his idea to his co-host Robin Quivers. “One vote, one person, no more of this Electoral College, I’m getting rid of it. And then Robin said, ‘Well, can you do that as President? And I said, ‘I don’t know, let’s find out.'”
The veteran radio host also said that he wouldn’t be afraid to expand the Supreme Court at all if he were President. “As soon as I become President, you’re gonna get five new Supreme Court justices that are going to overturn all this bullshit,” Stern passionately said.
He has run for office once before, in an unsuccessful bid to become the Governor of New York back in 1994. Considering how wholly disastrous it was the last time a loud-mouthed media personality from New York became the President, there may be better potential Presidents out there over Howard Stern.
