‘Housewives’ Star Jill Zarin Hospitalized After Car Accident

Jill Zarin, the former Real Housewives of New York star, was rushed to the hospital following a severe car accident.

On Friday Zarin was in a car accident and was hospitalized. She was carried away from the scene of the crash on a stretcher.The accident occurred on FDR Drive in New York around 1 p.m.

“Jill was in the car with her publicist on her way to promote her film Night of the Wild when the driver slammed on the brakes and crashed into a three-car pile up,” a source told Radar. Apparently, Zarin hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt.

Zarin was rendered unconscious from the accident and taken to a hospital nearby, but then returned home a few hours later. Zarin did not suffer any major injuries, but was reported to have some back pains and a tingling sensation down her spine.

Only two hours before the accident Zarin had tweeted about her upcoming film, saying, “Just one more day until my movie NIGHT OF THE WILD PREMIERES! I’m SO excited!! Tune into @Syfy Sat at 9pm EST I’ll be tweeting LIVE!”

Zarin’s assistant also tweeted to her fans about how she was doing after the accident, saying that she was doing well and resting.
