At a Mexico City press conference for the highly-anticipated series House of the Dragon, two of its stars Matt Smith and Fabien Frankel shot some photos and fielded reporters’ questions. Smith had a casual but sleek blue suit on while Frankel sported a stylish light sweater and striped pants.
Smith will be playing an ancestor of the Targaryens we know, Prince Daemon Targaryen. From the trailer he looks fitted out in a long blond wig just like Targaryens of the new series, and already looked to be displaying some impassioned performances and cool fight scenes.
Frankel will be playing Ser Criston Cole. In the official trailer that was recently released, Criston is briefly seen in some sort of hall as a guest of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and appears to be on her side as she attempts to make a claim to be Queen of the Iron Throne.
Here is the full trailer for the series, which starts its ten-episode first season August 21.
