Jeremy Meeks, aka the hot convict, traveled to the United Kingdom this week only to be turned away at the airport.
The viral felon was apparently looking for modeling jobs in London, only to be denied entry into the country at Heathrow Airport. Despite having the correct paperwork and letter from his parole officer, Meeks was sent back to the USA after eight hours of searches and interviews by border patrol.
His manager Jim Jordan had gotten Meeks various jobs shooting a series of magazine covers. Jordan, as well as Meeks’ wife, remained in London while the model was sent back on a flight bound for New York.
Meeks’ mug shot went viral in 2014 after the Stockton Police Department posted the image to their website. He had been arrested for gang activity and a misdemeanor charge of resisting and obstructing justice. He was released from jail in 2016 and landed himself a career as a model after becoming a viral sensation. He even appeared on the catwalk during New York’s Fashion Week in February.
“Been denied, London don’t want me here having served my time. S–t’s crazy,” Meeks said in a video he posted. “Got escorts. Don’t make no sense.”
