New TLC reality show sensation Alana Thompson, 7, otherwise known as Honey Boo Boo, the child beauty pageant contestant who stole the Toddlers & Tiaras show and then got her own — Here Comes Honey Boo Boo — is showing that she's got the edge it takes to be a celebrity.

For Honey Boo Boo's seventh birthday, she and the family, including three sisters, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, 15, Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, 17, and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 12, as well as mom June "Mama" Shannon, 32, hit Walmart for a shopping spree, and were stopped by photographers outside on their way to their car.

Honey Boo Boo saw the opportunity to attack and went for it, dousing the photographer and the photographer's car with silly string while exclaiming, "This is what we do to paparazzis," reports E! Online. Her sisters got in on the action, too, while Mama June stood by, laughing and trying to shield herself from the stringy substance.

Honey Boo Boo, who wore a T-shirt that read, "Down & Dirty Redneck Style" for the occasion, and her family have something else to celebrate on Alana's seventh birthday. The new show, technically titled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which has been progressively rising in the ratings, tied with CNN's coverage of President Bill Clinton's Democratic National Convention speech on Wednesday night, with 2.4 million viewers in the key 18-49 demographic, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Don't be disheartened, though. The Reporter adds the reminder that, "Aggregate coverage of the DNC clearly eclipsed Honey Boo Boo by all measurements."
