Hurley and Birtles were photographed at the Qatar Goodwood Festival at Goodwood Racecourse. Birtles is a racing enthusiast who refers to himself as “the racing poet” on his website. He also reportedly owns a media company focused on consulting the incorporation of horse racing events into sports media, and many of his most known published poems are about horse racing and other forms of sport.
