Easter 2018: 'The Passion Of Jesus' Is Performed By The Wintershall Players In Trafalgar Square
London’s Wintershall Players performed “The Passion of Jesus” in Trafalgar Square on Friday.
The performance was in honor of Easter weekend, according to the Wintershall website. Because it was Good Friday, 20,000 people gathered to watch.
The show was free, and two performances were held. Parental guidance was advised, as a realistic depiction of the crucifixion was performed.

Wintershall was quite accommodating and provided sign language interpreters as well as a designated disabled seating area. Others who couldn’t make it were able to watch a Livestream of the event.
Wintershall will perform “The Life of Christ” in mid-June, the “Nativity Play” in mid-December and “One Good Friday” in April 2020.
