Bella Thorne & Patrick Schwarzenegger “Have Chemistry” In Film ‘Midnight Sun’

Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzenegger went to the AOL Building in New York City today.

The pair star in the upcoming romantic comedy, Midnight Sun, in which a teenage girl, Katie Price (Thorne), can’t go outside during sunlight due to a rare genetic condition. She meets a boy, Charlie (Schwarzenegger), and they go on nighttime adventures together.

Thorne said she signed on to the movie first. “When I read the script, one of the main things was definitely Katie’s relationship with her father,” Thorne said. “Growing up with a single mom raising four kids, and the connection that she has with her dad, I’ve always wanted that myself.”

Schwarzenegger said he and Thorne hit it off during the “chemistry read” because they met beforehand to practice scenes and make sure they did well.

“I’m forever thankful that she did that for me and made me feel comfortable in the room and then we just became really close throughout filming,” Schwarzenegger said. “She’s so much fun and amazing to work with.”
