The star of the “GINGERS DO HAVE SOULS!!” viral video is getting a reality show – ReelzChannel has created the reality program Hollywood Hillbillies for Michael Kittrell and his family.

Hollywood Hillbillies | Movie Trailer | Review

Kittrell’s name might not be immediately familiar, but it will be once the show starts up. Hollywood Hillbillies will follow Kittrell and his family as they move from Georgia to Los Angeles to become "somebodies." “My family’s gotta look good. We gotta make a good first impression to all these Hollywood somebodies,” Kittrell says adamantly in a sneak peek. “We’re gonna be somebodies too.”

Kittrell moves with his family, including his grandmother without a filter Delores Hughes, or ‘Mema,’ as well as his aunt and uncle. The show, which looks like a take on the TLC hit series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, is described as a "reality sitcom." Kittrell claims that he made a lot of money on his YouTube channel, which allowed him and his family to make the move across the country.

Kittrell’s famous video, posted in 2010, has garnered over 34 million views. In the video, he yells angrily about being made fun of for having red hair – in particular, he calls out South Park for making a joke about people with red hair not having souls. He says that he is a Christian who knows he has a soul, despite that joke and people at school making fun of the color of his hair.

Hollywood Hillbillies premieres in January.
