Former Disney girl Hilary Duff may have put her teen years behind her officially after being spotted walking out of a gun store in California this weekend.

The 28-year-old actress was seen walking out of a Culver City, Calif., gun store with a Glock case and ammo. She picked up the firearm “after getting her handgun safety certificate,” according to TMZ.

Celebrities have been on both sides on the gun control issue, with Vince Vaughn showing his support for guns recently, telling British GQ, ““We don’t have the right to bear arms because of burglars; we have the right to bear arms to resist the supreme power of a corrupt and abusive government.
