Since Dec. 28, fans of Home and Garden Television have been entering to win the HGTV Dream Home 2013. Last night, the network aired an exclusive tour of the 3,000 square-foot dream home on Kiawah Island in South Carolina – 15 miles south of Charlestown. They’ll be re-airing the special tonight Jan. 2, Jan. 15, Jan. 18 and Jan. 21. The giveaway will continue through Feb. 15.
Custom built and designed by the best in their field, the HGTV Dream Home has impeccable style and broad appeal. The architects, Christopher Rose and Myles Trudell, describe their joint creation as “Low Country Zen.” To find out exactly what that entails, you can take a virtual tour of the island abode on HGTV.com where you can check out the 12-foot-high ceilings of the great room, the porcelain tile in the master bathroom, the tropical sea glass in the twin suite, and more. All of the appliances, artwork and furnishings are included in the prize package of this marshland cottage.
The HGTV Dream Home 2013 is situated in the exclusive Indigo Park neighborhood on Kiawah Island alongside beaches, villas and acclaimed golf courses. Indigo Park consists of just 16 houses, and seeks to be the first community within a residential resort to have all LEED certified homes.
Not only will the lucky winner become the proud owner of this Platinum LEED Certified dream home, they’ll also take home a 2013 GMC Acadia Denali and $500,000. Viewers can enter to win this trifecta of prizes twice daily: once on HGTV.com and once on FrontDoor.com.
