Heidi Klum, who hosted the amfAR Milano 2015 event in Milan, Italy on Saturday, looked stunning on the event’s red carpet in a daring black dress.
Klum wore a black peekaboo Atelier Versace Fall 2015 gown that featured frayed strips of black fabric with metallic detailing. The supermodel accessorized with black diamond jewelry, including dangling earrings.
“Getting ready for tonight’s @amfar Milan gala. Thanks to @lindahaymakeup @wendyiles_hair @versace_official @lorraineschwartz @missnewbark,” Klum captioned a behind-the scenes-look at her getting ready for the event.
During the event, which raised a record $1.6 million for AIDS research, Klum got her boyfriend, art dealer Vito Schnabel, to buy her a plastic snail. “Vito, I thought you were going to buy me the snail!” the model pleaded from the stage as the bidding war heated up.
In the end, Schnabel managed to purchase the 11-foot snail for the price of $22,000. Klum revealed at the fundraiser that the object would be going into her garden.
